Day 01    Christchurch – the Garden City

Arrive Christchurch. We take you for a panoramic city tour of Christchurch – the “Garden City” by private vehicle including entrance to the International Antarctic Center. Later we transfer to the hotel. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Christchurch.

Day 02    Queenstown

After an American breakfast, we drive to the spectacular resort town of Queenstown. Journey over the Canterbury plains and the wide expanse of the Mackenzie Countryside. We then drive to New Zealand’s highest mountain - Mount Cook and enter the National Park surrounded by 15 peaks towering to a height of over 3000 meters. Optional scenic flights by ski planes or by helicopter are available over these mountains. We continue through Lindis Pass and the gold mine of Kawarau Gorge to arrive into Queenstown. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Queenstown.

Day 03    Milford Sound

Today, after an American breakfast, we go for a full day trip to Milford Sound. Travel along the shore of Lake Wakatipu beneath The remarkable mountain range before crossing the Southland Plains to Te Anau, the gateway to the Fjordland National Park, now proclaimed a World Heritage Park. Drive through beech forests and glaciated valleys before descending the steep gradient Homer tunnel to the magnificent Milford Sound itself. Take a cruise (weather permitting) out to the Tasman Sea and return in time to enjoy the cascading waterfalls. We drive back to Queenstown via the same route. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Queenstown.

Day 04    Rotorua

This morning, after an early American breakfast, we transfer you to the domestic airport for your flight to Rotorua. Arrive Rotorua and proceed to Hotel by private vehicle. En route, we visit Rainbow Springs of Rotorua. See the trout pool and a magnificent aviary where you will find the famous Kiwi – New Zealand’s flightless native bird. We also visit the Rainbow Farm show – an exciting show, staging the different breeds of New Zealand sheep. We visit Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and New Zealand Maori Arts & Crafts Institute. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Rotorua.

Day 05    Rotorua – Waitomo Caves - Auckland

After an American breakfast, transfer by coach to Waitamo and enjoy a guided tour of Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We also visit Woolshed and see the extraction of wool. Arrive into Auckland. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Auckland.

Please Note:

• Passengers under 12 years sharing room without an extra bed are considered children.
• All Rates are per person in NZD based on minimum 02 full paying passengers traveling together.
• To ensure the clients have enough time to visit the International Antartic Centre (60-90 minutes) as well as the afternoon city tour in Christchurch, an early morning flight is required on Day 05 (Must arrive at CHC airport before 10am.)
• Accommodation is based on using centrally located 3*, 4*, 5* hotels or equivalent as listed below ‘OR SIMILAR’, subject to availability at the time of booking.
• Restaurant transfers are NOT included. However, all hotels quoted are centrally located and within easy walking distance to local Indian restaurants. So dinner transfers are usually not necessary.
• Check for peak season surcharge as applicable.

• Passport, visa charges, International Airfares & Airport taxes.
• Cost granted by the Reserve Bank of India under the Basic Travel Quota scheme.
• Any increase in the rate of exchange, surface transportation and land arrangements, which may come into effect, prior to departure.
• Porterage, tips, insurance, laundry, wines, mineral water, telephone charges, optional tours and all items of personal nature and also food & drinks not forming part of the group menus.
• Anything not specifically mentioned in “Tour Price Includes” box.

Visa requirements:

• New Zealand, a valid single entry visa for New Zealand will be required. Visa charges will be applicable.
• Passport:
• To undertake the tour you must be in possession of a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of travel.
